The AP Test
The AP test was very different than any other tests I've taken. For me it seemed so much harder than the SATS, which is the any really large test that I have taken that I think to compare it to. Because the test wasn't separated into many sections it was hard for me because I felt like it was so hard. The first part with the multiple choice questions was not too bad but the essay part was awful. The first DBQ was not too bad but the other two essays were so bad. I literally hated my life during them..Hahha..and I felt like I couldn't think correctly anymore. One thing that maybe could be different is the number of answer options for the multiple choice questions for the tests. This is kind of a stupid comment but for me because there were only four choices that was weird for me because normally there were five options. Overall it was not too bad because I felt prepared for the essays because we did so much work on the essays throughout the year.

The Communist Manifesto
Pros:
1.The worker's union was a positive for the labor force. This helped group the workers and lower class together. This strength in numbers approach helped them greatly to get fairer rights.
2. Wage labor is a good thing for the workers because this promoted competition among workers which eventually led to taking down of the upper class above them.
3. In a communist society the present dominates the past which is a good thing because it focuses more on the future and because of the abolition of private property no one has their own private issues to deal with from their past history of ownership for example.
4.A system of free love in communism which is a positive because it takes away previous restrictions of who you could marry in the Bourgeoisie society.
Cons:
1. The Bourgeoisie took away the individualism of people and the professions. They made it so family was just a money and business instead of how family should be. This is a negative clearly because no one wants the family structure to be like that. Marx and Engels continue to say that the Bourgeoisie are always trying to change things for more money and stuff and that they are constantly changing the social relations including family structure.
2. The revolt and rebellion occasionally against the Bourgeoisie causes destruction and chaos. When this happened it would cause state of panic and even barbarianism. This is all because of too much industry and commerce.
3.Treatment of workers is a negative that is highlighted. When the treatment of the workers is increased the wage decreases. This was an awful thing and was not fair for the treatment of the labor force. People would do whatever they could to increase their profits they did not care about the safety or well being of the people making the products or services.
4. The demoralization of the lower class who works. This is a negative because the people working were all viewed as objects to help the richer people make money regardless of their sex or age. Those two factors did not go into their jobs at all except to think if they could still manage the machine or whatever they had to work with. In my opinion this is a bad thing that in a way dehumanized the lower class.

The Liberator Hero
These paintings have several things in common including that all four of the men are holding an item. For three of them they are holding sword which shows power and threat. Also most of the men have a look of confidence and power. The point of the artist in doing this was to show how these leaders were in their role as a hero and leader. Also most o the men are confidently standing up with a power stance. This gives off their power and almost sends out a message of intimidation. In regard to future generations regarding these men they will look up to them and want to be like them being heroic, and having confidence and power. It gives an example for how future heroic leaders should be if they want to be successful. These revolutions need to have heroic figures who are strong and powerful to represent the movement as a whole and to give an image of the struggle and goal. They are heroic because of what they provide and give up of their personal life. Also they are heroic because they have personalities that are brave, confident and powerful. Also they have rebellious ideas that they are brave enough to speak of and stand up for what they believe when maybe other people cannot.

TED talk given by Niall Ferguson
I agree with the points given by Niall Ferguson. He was very smart and the points he made were very logical. He made six points or 'apps' from western culture that help societies. These include: competition, the scienentific revolution, property rights, modern medicine, the consumer society and the work ethic. I agree with him in that all of those can be used and shared to help expansion and societies profitiablity. I really enjoyed the video because it was interesting and not slow and boring like I thought it might have been.

The Ottomans, Safavids and Mughals
1. The reason for the textbook to group the Ottomans, the Safavids and the Mughals is becuase they all had the same Islamic religion. That is the main reason but also the three groups have other similarities that would make it beneficial to group them together. This was good decision in the sense that you could see the similarities of the different groups right together and in line. Personally for me I like things being clearly separate and more easily to distinguish between, that way there is no confusion.
2.This period of global interactions was in my opinion a good one. Like everything there are bad things too but the good things make the bad things seem less negative. Some of the good things about this time period was the productive trading and trade routes established. This was not only helpful for that time period but also for future time periods. The slavery during this time period was helpful and very good, even though it is not a good thing it was helpful for trading and the people at the time.

Passage about Christianity
The passage is about Christianity and Fabian Fucan finding the faults in it. He first starts by attacking the religious aspect of it by explaining how their faith is wicked and later he says crooked. He also talks about the political aspects of the religion by saying that the Christians are only looking to take over Japan. Another is the social aspect of the religion where he says that is lacking because they do not value the follower's lives, by calling them 'less than trash'. Lastly he discusses the history of Christianity by comparing it to Buddhism. By doing this he makes Buddhism seem more of a legitimate than Christianity.
